Austin web development company adds a new behind-the-wheel driving course for Texas parent-taught driver education company Online Driving Professor
Houston, TX – September, 23, 2019 – Austin-based web development firm WEBii announced the addition of a new course offering to OnlineDrivingProfessor.com on Monday. The new course is the second addition to the driver education company’s offerings.
Online Driving Professor, which is based in Houston, currently specializes in parent-taught driver education for students in the state of Texas. The new course is titled Texas Parent-Taught In-Car Behind-the-Wheel Only Teen Driver Education Course.
Administrators of the school noticed that parents and their teenage students were commonly learning part of their classroom curriculum at a physical location or high school, but needed another source to participate in the required behind-the-wheel practice lessons to acquire the final certification. This new course allows students to sign up for the behind-the-wheel lessons independently from other classroom education. Parents who follow the Texas requirements for becoming a parent instructor are then able to guide their teens and assess their progress for the required hours of driving practice before heading to the Department of Public Safety for a driver’s license.
WEBii has worked with the company for several years to develop an extensive e-learning web application for their driving programs, and continues to support and improve the system as the company grows.
